  • OCC Systems worked with Ford Motor Company to optimize a system in their body shop at Wayne Body & Stamping Plant. There had been issues with down-time on a body-side delivery system that OCC was able to solve with an overhead banking system. This system, installed above the work-cell area, consisted of an overhead monorail loop that fed a robotic transfer. The bank would remain filled until such time that the system was 'down'. The robot would then begin feeding parts out of the bank until the problem was corrected and the main system was back in production. The OCC solution cost approximately half of any of the other solutions and, because of its simplicity, made for a smoother installation and faster launch. Saving our customer both time and money.
